From the first dip of their toe, Turtle Tots is a magical journey between parent and child, developing water confidence, safety, and swimming skills through our unique and multi award-winning, child-led swimming programme.
Turtle Tots Bath and West Wiltshire is run by Imogen and Nathan Holmes. Along with their team of world-class swimming teachers, they offer swimming lessons for babies, toddlers, 3 to 5 year olds from their lovely warm pool facilities in Radstock, Bath, Frome, Corsham, Atworth and Paulton.
Our supportive and child-led swimming lessons offer a wonderful bonding experience, packed with songs and games to ensure that you and your little one enjoy your time in the pool together and develop a life-long love of the water. Our programme is taught by our fully qualified and highly skilled teachers who are trained to the highest possible standards. They have an in-depth understanding of early years communication and are attuned to your child’s needs to ensure that every skill is taught at a pace that is right for them.

I’m Dean, the owner of Turtle Tots Bath and West Wiltshire.
I have a background in sports coaching and swimming teaching and I’ve always been really passionate about inspiring a love of physical activity in children. Life took me away from this path while my children were born. I’m really excited to have the opportunity to be getting back into what I’m most passionate about.

Hi, I’m Sheree! My love of baby & toddler swimming began when I took my 10-week old daughter to Turtle Tots classes. I was on maternity leave from my job as a Management Accountant and was looking for activities that we would both benefit from. I soon realised that becoming a teacher for Turtle Tots would be perfect for me. I feel so lucky to be able to say that I love my job. There’s nothing more satisfying than watching babies become water confident.

Hi, I’m Harriet. My journey with Turtle Tots began when my eldest child began swimming lessons at just over a year old. She was not very confident in the water prior to this and the difference after just a couple of lessons was amazing. We have since swam with Turtle Tots with both of my sons. The child led approach of Turtle Tots has been amazing for all of them.
After having my 3rd child I realised that a return to my career in the NHS would be difficult. The opportunity to teach children to swim and give them the confidence in the water that I see in my own children has been perfect.

It’s been such a lovely journey and we’ve had a lot of fun along the way. My child is a total water baby and so much of that love and confidence in the water has come from these lessons. They are fun, flexible and meets the children where they’re at. Can’t thanks Nathan and the team at Turtle Tots enough.

Nice interactive swim class, which was well thought out. No fault of their own but the pool was too cold which is why I stopped attending with my child. Also it’s a shame that we have to purchase the swim badges and print off our own certificates when other swim classes give them out in lessons.

I can’t endorse this enough, as a first time father wanting my daughter to be comfortable swimming from an early age, turtle tots have a fantastic structure to lessons that goes at your child’s pace and isn’t just splashing to songs. The instructors are extremely friendly and the class size give you the right level of support. The online booking system works well and allows you to book absences and catch up sessions. I have tried other company’s and this is the best in my experience

My daughter and I have loved our swimming lessons with Turtle Tots. She is the happiest she has ever been when in the water, and her strength, co-ordination and confidence have all improved significantly. We are sad to be leaving the course as my work days are changing and will really miss the sessions. Our instructor Zoe had been fantastic and we wish her and the company all the best in the future.

My daughter has been swimming with turtle tots since she was 6 months old and she is now nearly 3. Her swimming and confidence has come on so much and she loves the songs as they help her remember what she needs to do. The staff are lovely and the venues are convenient and there is flexibility to move a lesson if you are unable to attend. A great company which I highly recommend.

Alfie and I absolutely love our swimming time with turtle tots. The amount he has progressed is just amazing and his confidence in the water so brillant. The fun games and songs really help to make it an enjoyable experience even when he dosnt like doing something. The teacher is so friendly and kind. Just a brillant class to do
